#94 Less Doing to Reduce Stress with Ari Meisel

Ari Meisel of LessDoing.com talks to me today about how you can do less and get organized to reduce stress! I have implemented a lot of his suggestions and I’m beyond impressed. Had to share. I think stress reduction is incredibly important and it’s imperative to be organized and have a system to maximize production while reducing stress. His system is called Less Doing. I’ve been implementing his strategies and have to say I am impressed with my increase in productivity and reduction in stress.

I met Ari at the Bulletproof Biohacker’s conference and was very intrigued by his ideas to increase productivity and absolutely loved his book, Less Doing More Living!

About Ari Meisel

Ari Meisel is the founder of LessDoing.com. In 2006, he developed a painful chronic autoimmune condition of the gut called Crohn’s disease. After taking a dozen medications and several hospitalizations, he committed to doing whatever it took to overcome his disease. Through a combination of yoga, nutrition, natural supplements and rigorous exercise he was able to fight back the symptoms of Crohn’s until he was finally able to suspend his medication. Eventually he was declared free of all traces of the ‘incurable’ disease, and competed in Ironman France in June of 2011.

Through the process of data collection, self tracking, and analysis, he developed Less Doing. This was a system of dealing with the daily stresses of life by optimizing, automating, and outsourcing all of one’s tasks in life and business. Now he focuses on Achievement Architecture, helping individuals and companies to be more effective at everything.

Less Doing, More Living

“Less is more”—or, more specifically, the less you have to do, the more life you have to live. Efficiency expert Ari Meisel details his “Less Doing” philosophy, which will streamline your life, and make everything easier.

Ari Meisel’s “Less Doing, More Living: Make Everything in Life Easier” encompasses the nine fundamental principles that he recommends for Less Doing. These principles promise to boost your efficiency and get rid off the stress in your life!

In business and our personal lives, it often seems as if the only way to get more done is by putting in more time—more hours at the office, more days running errands. But what if there were a way that we could do less, and free up more time for the things and people we love? If this sounds like what you need, Ari Meisel—TEDx speaker, efficiency consultant, and achievement architect—has the program for you. In Less Doing, More Living, Meisel explores the fundamental principles of his “Less Doing” philosophy, educating the reader on:

Optimizing workflow with twenty-first-century apps and tools Creating an “external brain” in the Cloud to do all of your “lower” thinking—like keeping track of appointments, meetings, and ideas How to use technology to live a paper-free life The three fundamentals of wellness—fitness, sleep, and nutrition—and technological approaches to improving these areas of life And so much more!
