Improve Your Relationship’s Energy Field

Do you have a genuine emotional connection in relationships? I’m not asking if you have genuine love; I’m talking specifically about emotional connection. We can love with all our hearts but still not have time or energy to connect intimately with the ones we love daily.

All too often, we go about our lives sneaking in a day or two each year to connect with our loved ones. Meanwhile, we spend the vast majority of our days on autopilot siloed in our own minds and checking off our to-do lists.

If this resonates with you, I have good news; there’s a simple yet profound way to remedy this lack of emotional connection, and the outcomes will have a ripple effect on your entire life.

Emotional Connection In Relationships and Stress

If you’re wondering why your relationships feel dull, robotic, or are simply lacking that “spark,”  the likely answer is stress. You may not even realize how stress affects your life, but most people are living in a state of moderate to high stress as their baseline[1].

Why We Get Stressed

Aside from the obvious stressors like work, family responsibilities, and financial pressure, some environmental factors can significantly contribute to the way your body handles stress.

These include:

EMFs Electromagnetic frequencies from phones, computers, powerlines, and WiFi. These frequencies can create disharmony in your own electromagnetic field, resulting in stress on the cellular level (more on this later).

Heavy Metals Heavy metals like mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium are found ubiquitously in the environment – from the soil your food is grown in, to the air you inhale, or the pans you use for cooking. Heavy metals can cause serious damage to your organs and are known as carcinogens[2].

Environmental Pollutants Air pollution, in particular, is shown to have adverse effects on the health of your heart and lungs, and the stress that it causes can lead to diseases affecting your nervous system like Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s.

Your Autonomic Nervous System

To understand how stress (both lifestyle and environmental) affects your body, let’s first talk about your autonomic nervous system (ANS) — the system in your body responsible for your stress response.

While I could go into great detail about the number of roles that your ANS plays in your body, we’re going to focus on how stress affects two branches of your ANS — your parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) and your sympathetic nervous system (SNS). Here’s a quick breakdown[3]:

Sympathetic nervous system – This is the system that becomes active in a stress response. It’s the part of your brain responsible for survival, and it gives you that “fight or flight” response. When your SNS is active, you become more alert, focused, your heart rate quickens, and your blood moves from your internal organs to the muscles in your arms and legs — so you can run. This is the part of your nervous system that gets you out of dangerous situations.

Parasympathetic nervous system – This is the system that slows down your heart rate, relaxes your muscles, and brings blood back to your internal organs;  it’s often referred to as your “rest and digest” mode. This is the part of your nervous system that’s active when you feel safe and secure[4].

In a healthy body, you would go back and forth between these two systems regularly, with plenty of time in the PNS to allow for rest and recovery, and most of all — relaxation. However, in today’s world where stressors from your life and environment are constantly active, you get pulled into the SNS, fight or flight mode, the majority of your day.

Emotional Connection in Relationships

So how does this show up in relationships?

As you can imagine, if you’re in the fight or flight mode, your energy and attention are going to be squarely focused on survival. Now, the word “survival” here doesn’t necessarily mean running from a tiger, but rather survival from the stressful circumstances and physical assaults (toxins) in your life.

It can be incredibly challenging to sit down, relax, open up, and share a connection with your loved ones when your mind is racing with to-do’s, worries, and a general feeling of overwhelm. When your sympathetic nervous system is active (which is it the majority of the time), you’re more reactive, tense, likely to get offended, and less likely to want to feel vulnerable. This is not the time for intimacy.

On the other hand, when your parasympathetic nervous system is active, you’re much more relaxed, open, vulnerable, and ready to connect. In this mode, your walls come down, and you feel safe.

The goal for connecting emotionally then, is to release stress so you can get out of sympathetic mode and into parasympathetic mode where you can let the walls down, get out of fight or flight, away from survival mode, and into a place where you can be open and vulnerable.

Energy Fields and Stress

Before we get into the simple solution for creating a more balanced nervous system, let’s first talk about a crucial aspect of your health that often gets overlooked — your energy field.

Every person has a field of energy around their bodies. This energy field carries a specific frequency, kind of like a vibrational blueprint. Practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda have known about these fields for thousands of years, and understand that the health of your physical body is closely associated with the health of your energy field[5].

We’re all born with an energy field that is in perfect harmony. Unfortunately, the inevitable physical and emotional trauma that comes with being human creates imbalances in your field, and negatively affects your vibrational frequency.

This ties directly into your autonomic nervous system because imbalanced frequencies from stress or trauma can put your body into sympathetic mode. Likewise, being in sympathetic mode can create disturbance in your energy field.

But here’s the kicker, an imbalance in your energy doesn’t just affect you — it affects those around you too. That’s right; imbalanced frequencies are contagious.

Energy likes to attract similar energy. Have you ever had lunch with a friend that was in a really bad place and left feeling totally drained? Your energetic vibration lowered due to the pull from your friend, who was vibrating at a lower frequency. Are you starting to see how emotional connection in relationships is tied to energetic vibration?

Imbalanced Energy And Relationships

When you come into contact with people, places, or situations that don’t resonate with your frequency, you end up with discourse or destructive interference of your own frequency. To put it plainly, you don’t “vibe” with that person.

Let’s look at an example of how this may play out in a relationship. Let’s say one person is living a balanced life, spending a good amount of time in parasympathetic mode, and their vibrational frequency is in harmony.

Meanwhile, their partner is working a job they hate, they’re stressed and overwhelmed, they spend the majority of their time in sympathetic (fight or flight) mode, and their vibrational frequency is in disharmony.

When these two sit down for dinner at night, the partner that’s in vibrational harmony is ready to connect and share about their day. Meanwhile, the partner that’s out of harmony is still stirring on to-do’s, worries, and just wants to eat dinner and turn on the TV to zone out. This is not a set up for an emotional connection in relationships.

For two people to connect, they need to both be ready to open up, they both need to be in vibrational harmony. And to make matters worse, if the imbalanced partner doesn’t create more balance in their field, it will likely end up bringing down the balanced partner — and now no ones open.

Balance Your Energy For Deep, Emotional Connection

How do you have greater emotional connection in relationships? At this point, the answer is probably pretty clear — to have real intimate connections; you need to get your energy and nervous system in balance. But how do you do it?

There are plenty of tools you can use to create balance in your life – exercise, meditation, journaling, therapy, diet, and the list goes on.

But my two main recommendations are:

  1. Sound Therapy
  2. The Harmoni Pendant

Sound Therapy for Energy Transformation and Balancing

Sound is a powerful tool for strengthening your energy field and releasing stress.

When your energy field is holding stress or unresolved emotions, it’s in a state of dissonance. This stress creates an imbalance in the field, and therefore your Biofield is out of harmony.

This can affect your relationships.

When you introduce a new frequency to the field around your body, through sound vibrations, the frequencies of your emotions and stress entrain or match with the frequency produced by the sound and become coherent. In other words, the sound vibrations balance out the frequencies of the stress, and your energy field reaches a new state of harmony.

I recommend checking out these 7 transformative sound healing sessions to help you get started.

Through this Sound Therapy Transformation Series, you can:

  • Release negative emotions and attract what you desire with 7 healing sound therapy sessions containing scientifically researched sounds, frequencies, and vibrational patterns
  • Tap into your body’s own energy field and remove the blocks getting in the way of your relationships, creativity, and flow
  • Rebalance your nervous system, increase energy, boost cellular regeneration, and promote youthful aging
  • Overcome negative experiences and become a vibrational match to an abundant, joy-filled life

To maximize your emotional healing and stress reduction, I highly recommend using these sound healing sessions in conjunction with mindfulness meditation.

The Harmoni Pendant for Improved Emotional Connection and Reduced Stress

If you want to start feeling more balanced and ready to resonate with your partner’s energy quickly, there’s one solution that gets right to the source — it’s called the Harmoni Pendant.

The pendant works by creating harmony in your energy field to bring your vibrational blueprint back into balance. Once your energy body is in balance, your physical body can follow suit, and your nervous system can shift into parasympathetic mode. When you and our loved ones realign with your true vibration, your hearts can open, and true intimacy can happen.

The Harmoni Pendant not only realigns your energy, but it can also protect your field from harmful EMFs that can lower your frequency.

So forget the jewelry, flowers, and chocolate  — grab a Harmoni Pendant for you and your partner this Valentine’s day for a gift that will give back all year.
