Infrared saunas have dozens of health benefits, including boosting your body’s natural detox process agains heavy metals and chemicals, pain relief, anti-aging, sports recovery, etc. The list goes on and on…
Thousands of studies done for decades prove the benefits of infrared saunas. I list the top 30 in this article.
I personally believe that people that are using an infrared sauna on a regular basis are going to live disease-free, longer lives, on fewer or no mediations. And look amazing during their long, happy life!
If you’re having trouble losing weight, have a lack of energy, are sick, or suffering from a chronic health condition, toxin accumulation could be contributing to the problem.
Infrared sauna therapy is one of the safest and most powerful proven ways to eliminate toxins and increase your overall health.
But before we get into the benefits, let’s go over a little lesson about the different types of saunas on the market today.
Types of Saunas
There are many types of saunas, though my sauna of choice is a near infrared sauna. I currently recommend the near infrared saunas by Creatrix Solutions.
Let’s look a little closer at the differences between infrared saunas and other types of saunas:
- Traditional saunas consist of a small room that is heated with a heater powered by electricity, gas, wood or other fuel. Heat from conventional saunas penetrates only a few millimeters even though the temperature can range from 180-220 degrees Fahrenheit. The only problem is it’s hard to stay in this type of sauna for very long.
- Far infrared saunas use ceramic, metallic rods, or carbon (the best) for heating that mainly emit in the far infrared range. Infrared heats YOU, rather than the air, with penetration 1-2 inches. Air temperature ranges from 120-150 degrees normally.
- Near Infrared saunas use incandescent infrared heat lamps for heating. They emit mainly far infrared rays, near infrared and some mid infrared. The near infrared rays penetrate about 3-4 inches and even as much as 9 inches. The far infrared is what heats you up so you can detox. The air temperature can be kept at a comfortable 110-140 degrees, allowing people to sauna who are sick or sensitive to heat.
- Steam rooms can be very hot and may not allow many to stay in for very long. While you do sweat in a steam room, you won’t enjoy the benefit of deep penetrating infrared rays and the deep toxin detox that they provide.
Benefits of Both Near and Far Infrared Saunas
Infrared sauna therapy is one of the least costly, safest and most powerful ways to eliminate toxic metals, industrial chemicals and chronic infections.
Far and near infrared saunas have many of the same benefits, including:
1 – Detox Heavy Metals
The main reason to use an infrared sauna is to detox heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, aluminum, nickel and many others. These metals accumulate in our bodies causing any imaginable health condition, symptom and disease, including cancer. These metals are present in our air, food and water. Everyone has heavy metal toxicity, the only difference being the degree of toxicity.
2 – Detox Industrial Chemicals
Eighty thousand chemicals have been unleashed into our environment in the form of dumping and use in manufacturing. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a person has 700 chemicals on average in their body, including rocket fuel and pesticides, with the most plentiful being phthalates, found in perfumed and colored personal care products. One can easily sweat these chemicals out of the body.
3 – Enhanced Immunity
Infrared Saunas enhance white blood cell function, thereby increasing immune response and the elimination of foreign pathogens and cellular waste products. It also removes accumulated toxins by improving lymph circulation.
Researchers believe that infrared therapy can help stimulate the body’s immune system simply by elevating body temperature. A 30-minute infrared sauna session causes a temporary 2-3° increase in body temperature. This increase has been shown to stimulate white blood cells.
Many heavy metals, that are detoxed with regular sauna use, impede the function of the immune system. The main metals involved in immune system malfunction are:
- mercury
- arsenic
- lead
- cadmium
These metals inhibit function of 3 components of the immune system:
- Metals inhibit the function of macrophages. Macrophages are important cells of the immune system that are formed in response to an infection or accumulating damaged or dead cells. Macrophages are large, specialized cells that recognize, engulf and destroy target cells.
- Neutrophils function are negatively affected by metals. Neutrophils are the “first responders” when the body is invaded by bacteria, viruses, or other organisms. Guided by chemical signaling, they travel to the area of infection and attack. Neutrophils contain tiny compartments called granules, in which they store toxic chemicals that act as their weapons against microorganisms. These substances are effective at killing bacteria and viruses, but also contribute to inflammation, with swelling, redness, and often pain. if you look at live blood cell analysis who are sick with infections and metals, you’ll see that their neutrophils are sluggish. They don’t want to find a meal. The same happens in cancer patients that are taking chemo and cancer drugs.
- Metals impair natural killer cells. It’s bad if they’re too low or too high. Cadmium has also been shown to increase the number of NK (Natural Killer) immune cells. Most of our white blood cells are called natural killer (NK) cells because they are specialized to kill certain types of diseased cells, especially:
- cells that have become infected with virus
- cells that have become cancerous.
With regular use of an infrared sauna, you improve immune system function by sweating out the metals that impede its function.
Infrared rays have been proven to be outstanding for asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, colds, flu, sinusitis and congestion as it clears inflammation, swelling and mucus clogged passages. It also kills viruses and bacteria that cause upper respiratory infections.
Infection plays a role in more conditions than previously thought, from arterial disease and ulcers to arthritis and colitis. Many bacteria and fungi produce endo-and exotoxins that cause both local and systemic disease. More and more of them are resistant to drug therapy. Bodies weakened by toxic chemicals and heavy metals are more subject to attack by opportunistic infections.
Many infections are chronic, causing nagging complaints that never go away. This occurs especially in parts of the body with poor circulation such as the joints, ears and sinuses. Common sites of infections are the sinuses, ears, eyes, bladder, throat and intestines. A sauna is a great way to penetrate into these hard-to-reach areas to kill off infections.
Heating the body is a natural mechanism the body uses to fight infections. Sauna therapy not only heats, but powerfully improves circulation to help fight both acute and chronic infections.
Given the human body’s effectiveness in fighting disease by inducing a fever, why not induce your own fever with an infrared sauna? Get your heat therapy as soon as you start feeling sick. The temperature increase induces a faux fever by heating the body up 2-3 degrees. This assists the body in fighting upper respiratory infections, colds, flu and other infections.
4- Improved Deep Sleep
According to the American Sleep Association, sauna use increases slow wave sleep, which is commonly referred to as deep sleep. Some people find that saunas stimulate them and can’t do them at night. But overall, saunas do relax the nervous system and induce deeper sleep with regular use.
5 – Control Yeasts, Mold, and Fungi
These opportunistic infections are one of the most underdiagnosed and problematic, causing all kinds of vague symptoms. In small quantities, many types of yeast are harmless. Under the right conditions, some of them, such as Candida Albicans, overgrow and become pathogenic.
Yeasts secrete extremely poisonous chemicals in our bodies, such as alcohol and acetaldehyde, and can cause or contribute to a wide range of health symptoms and conditions. These infections tolerate heat poorly, making saunas ideal to keep them under control. Many of these infections are caused or exacerbated by mercury, copper and other metals, all of which are detoxed with sauna use.
6 – Kill Parasites
Parasites are found in the brain and other tissues of the body. Parasites are opportunistic infections that more easily harbor in bodies weakened by other chronic infections, heavy metal toxicity and nutritional deficiencies. Most parasites have no tests for their detection. Even when a parasite is detected, they are very resistant to treatment. Many treatments don’t work very well – if there is a treatment. They keep coming back!
Parasites can be incredibly frustrating because any parasites you kill have laid eggs, which hatch in a 6-8 weeks and the cycle begins again. Treatment must be consistent and ongoing. Parasites are very intolerant to heat.
Consistent near infrared sauna therapy is an ideal parasite treatment because it kills the parasites, the recurring parasite hatchlings and detoxes all the infections weakening the host – you.
7 – Radiation Poisoning
Radiation causes cancer. Radiation is a huge problem in the world today. We are exposed to radiation from bomb testing, Fukushima fallout and living in urban areas. One of the best ways to destroy cells that contain radiation is with an infrared sauna. These weaker cells can safely and easily destroyed and prevent any cancers they may have eventually caused.
Using the official ‘radiation risk’ estimates published in 1991 by the International Commission on Radiological Protection, planet-wide contamination will cause 175 million cancer deaths and another 350 million non-fatal cancers. It will also cause another 235 million illnesses and 588 million children to be born with birth defects such as brain damage, mental disability, spina bifida and childhood cancers.
Radiation sources include medical and dental x-rays, medical waste that may contain radioactive materials, CAT and other scans, smoke alarms and proximity to food irradiation facilities.
Radiation is carried on mineral particles. The minerals lodge in the cells where they disrupt DNA synthesis. This causes defective protein synthesis resulting in innumerable subtle metabolic dysfunctions. As the defective proteins replicate, the metabolic errors also multiply.
Infrared sauna therapy promotes rapid turnover of body cells. The deeply penetrating high heat kills damaged cells which are more heat-sensitive than normal cells. Eliminating the radiation-containing cells helps the body eliminate radioactive particles faster and prevents replication of these cells.
Over a period of time, sauna therapy can dramatically reduce the amount of mutated DNA and radioactive material in the body. One needs to continue sauna use on a maintenance basis because exposure to radiation continues throughout one’s life.
8 – Increase of Structured EZ Water and Negative Ions in the Body
Infrared saunas increase the amount of EZ water surrounding the body’s tissues. This was discovered by Dr. Gerald Pollack. EZ stands for “exclusion zone”—which has a negative charge.
We need to increase this type of negatively charged water in our body because “If you have an organ that’s not functioning well—for example, it’s lacking that negative charge—then the negative charge from the earth and… EZ water can help restore that negativity. I’ve become convinced… that this negative charge is critical for healthy function,” Dr. Pollack says.
This is the same concept as grounding to increase the negative ions in and around our body. It helps to charge up the cells and the structured water around the cells – the EZ water.
This is the fourth phase of water, not H2O but H3O2, and can be called living water. It’s more viscous, dense, and alkaline than regular water; has a negative charge, and can hold energy, much like a battery, and deliver energy too.
Your body consists of over 99 percent water molecules, but the water in your cells is not regular water, but highly structured water with special properties.
The key ingredient to create this highly structured water is light, i.e. electromagnetic energy, whether in the form of visible light or infrared wavelengths.
One reason why infrared saunas make you feel so good is because your body’s cells are deeply penetrated by infrared energy, which builds and stores structured water. The same goes for light therapy and spending time in the sun.
9 – Skin Rejuvenation
The skin is the largest eliminative organ of the body. Regular infrared sauna use slowly restores elimination through the skin. In most people, it is inactive, congested and toxic. Excessive sun exposure, use of synthetic clothing, bathing in chlorinated tap water and exposure to hundreds of chemicals damage the skin.
Excessive sympathetic nervous system activity (aka stress, fight or flight) causes blood to be withdrawn from the skin’s surface, contributing to inactivity and nourishment of the skin.
Infrared saunas improve skin health in many ways. They shuttle blood to the skin’s surface, bringing oxygen and nutrients. DNA synthesis of fibroblasts, whose abundance improves the elasticity of skin, increases five-fold with infrared use.
The result is younger-looking, more beautiful skin. You get that healthy glow! Congestion, little bumps, roughness and other skin conditions clear with infrared sauna use. I’ve also noticed my skin becomes softer the more I use the sauna, especially my heels.
10 – Enhanced Sweating
Most people don’t sweat enough today. Lack of exercise and clogged skin are two culprits. Sweating increases dramatically in most people after several months of daily sauna use.
Sweating in a sauna is a byproduct of applying heat to the body. The sweating process gently and safely helps eliminate heavy metals and toxic chemicals. Medical studies demonstrate that most toxins can be eliminated through the skin, relieving some detox burden from the kidneys and liver.
Sweating during exercise is not nearly as effective for detoxification because exercise activates the sympathetic nervous system. Sympathetic nervous system (stress, fight or flight) activity inhibits toxin elimination. You must be in a parasympathetic state (calm, rest or sleep) which is activated by a sauna, to detox.
You can either workout OR detox, not both at the same time.
11 – Exercise Benefits
Saunas provide many of the benefits of exercise with much less expenditure of energy. These include enhanced circulation and oxidation of the tissues. Saunas are most helpful for cardiovascular rehabilitation because they lower elevated blood pressure and improve the elasticity of the arteries – just like exercise.
Growth hormone release is induced by an increase in body temperature and not by exercise itself. Growth hormone increases muscle mass and lipolysis (the breakdown of stored fat). Growth hormone dramatically reduces after the age of 30 and to remain firm and thin. A sauna is a great, natural way to increase growth hormone.
12 – Stress Reduction
Most people in modern society spend most of their time with their sympathetic nervous system activated – stressed out in fight or flight mode. Even if people don’t feel stressed, their bodies are under a lot of stress from EMF (Electromagnetic fields), blue light, past trauma and the stressors of everyday life.
This is one reason why stress is a killer – when you’re always in a sympathetic state, your body cannot detox effectively and you accumulate more toxins than you normally would.
Detoxification and digestion occur only when the parasympathetic nervous system is activated. This state is the opposite of stress – you are calm, relaxed, resting or sleeping in a parasympathetic state.
An infrared sauna assists the body into a parasympathetic state, allowing detoxification to occur. This is a tremendous benefit not offered by many therapies.
13 – Oxygenating and Hydrating the Cells and Organs
Infrared rays are an antioxidant nutrient, activating the cells, supporting metabolic processes and decoupling toxins from water molecules. The heat and other actions of the sauna greatly improve circulation, which brings nutrients to the cells and toxins to the eliminative organs.
14 – Wound Healing
Infrared saunas increase blood circulation and oxygen supply to damaged tissues aiding reduction of chronic joint and muscle pain or sport injuries.
Physicians from NASA and the Medical College of Wisconsin found that near infrared light significantly promotes faster cell regeneration, wound healing and human tissue growth.
Human cell growth increased by 155%-171% in some cases and wound size decreased by 36%.
15 – Pain Relief
Penetrating heat from infrared saunas has long been proven to reduce pain in joints and muscles by reducing inflammation and increasing circulation to areas of discomfort. Infrared saunas have also been shown to significantly increase range of flexibility. Many athletes use infrared saunas to reduce recovery time and improve their performance.
One study in 44 female fibromyalgia patients, three months of sauna therapy three times a week, along with underwater exercise twice a week, decreased pain and other symptoms by 33% to 77%. And the improvements lasted: pain was still 28% to 68% improved six months after the end of the study.
16 – Reduced Blood Pressure, Healthier Arteries, and Increased Heart Health
Infrared saunas reduce blood pressure in many ways. This is one of the reasons it is so good to improve heart health.
German medical researchers concluded one session in an infrared sauna for over 1 hour can have significant reduction of blood pressure thanks to persistent peripheral vessel dilation. They also noted that blood viscosity was improved.
When the normally smooth, firm lining of the arteries become thickened and roughened by deposits of fat, fibrin, calcium and cellular debris, it reduces their ability to expand and contract, slowing the movement of blood through narrowed channels. These conditions make it easier for blood clots to form. Infrared therapy is able to neutralize blood toxicity and smooth the walls of arteries, capillaries and veins.
Benefits ONLY Had with Near Infrared Saunas
Near infrared lamp saunas are considered by many to be superior to far infrared saunas. Near infrared radiation (NIR) penetrates deeper than far infrared rays and have many benefits not enjoyed by users of far infrared saunas.
Near infrared saunas are saunas that have 3-4 red light bulbs inside an enclosure. These bulbs emit near infrared but mostly emit far infrared rays, so you get the benefits of BOTH when you do a near infrared bulb sauna.
This is why this a near infrared sauna is my sauna of choice.
One thing to make clear is that near infrared bulbs emit mainly far infrared rays, but they also emit near infrared rays. So, one also gets the benefits of the near infrared rays they emit, which you don’t enjoy in a far infrared sauna.
New research on near infrared therapy (NIR) proves the following health benefits.
17 – Increased Weight Loss
A single infrared sauna session can burn 200-600 calories an hour! Infrared sauna use is the perfect compliment to a weight loss regimen.
When people use a near infrared bulb sauna in combination with exercise, they increase their weight loss by 444%! Women in a German study were exercising the same amount of time and intensity as women but with red near infrared bulbs shining on them while doing the exercise. And they lost far more weight.
This is one of the reasons that contestants on the TV show The Biggest Loser add infrared saunas to increase their weight loss results!
Far infrared saunas also have weight loss benefits by reducing toxins that promote weight gain and prevent weight loss, like mentioned previously.
However, the near infrared frequency has the added benefit of increasing weight loss if one is exercising while in the sauna or having the bulbs shined on them during exercise.
An infrared sauna can help you lose weight by detoxifying the body of toxins that promote weight gain. I struggled with resistant weight loss for years. Only when I began detoxing and using an infrared sauna on a regular basis was I finally able to get my weight (and health) under control.
The body stores fat-soluble toxins in fat. If you have a lot of toxins, the body is forced to hold onto fat to store it. It’s simple. You have to detox these toxins so the body can then allow the release of the fat in the fat cells.
Conventional thinking around weight management has always hovered around two things – diet and exercise. This is the whole “calories in/calories out” model, that we are now understanding more and more isn’t accurate. There is far more going on than just energy intake and energy expenditure.
Most people don’t realize that products they’re using every day contain toxins and chemicals that are promoting weight gain. Things like our shampoo, beauty products, perfume, the packaging our food comes in, food, household cleaners, and much more, all contain toxins called obesogens.
Obesogens are chemicals that directly or indirectly increase obesity through disruption of metabolic, hormonal, or developmental processes. They have the ability to alter fat cell development, alter metabolism, and promote fat retention. They also cause insulin resistance and diabetes.
There are currently 20 chemicals that have been identified as obesogens, but there are certainly far more than this list! They include nicotine, MSG, arsenic, atrazine, DDT, high fructose corn syrup, parabens, fragrance, phthalates and BPA.
In fact, this chart shows the correlation between the rise in chemical production and the introduction of toxic chemicals into our environment and our rising obesity rates.
If you want to lose weight or combat resistant weight loss, you’ve got to get these chemicals out of your body. This is especially true of many readers who have tried diet, exercise and everything under the sun and have not been able to lose weight. I know. I’ve been there, done that. It wasn’t until I began using a sauna that got my weight under control.
Infrared saunas also increase the expression of heat shock proteins, which have many benefits, including increasing muscle mass, which burns more calories.
Research has shown that when rats were exposed to intermittent heat sessions like that in an infrared sauna, they had a “robust” expression of heat shock proteins (HSPs) that was associated with 30 percent more muscle regrowth compared to a control group. When you increase muscle mass, you lose more weight.
The expression of HSPs persisted for up to 48 hours after the heat session and may actually lead to a higher expression of heat shock proteins even when you’re not exercising. When you do exercise, heat acclimation may prompt an even greater release in HSPs than normal.
18 – Increased Energy
The mitochondria (power plants of the cells that produce our energy) produce more ATP (energy currency of the cells) when NIR (near infrared rays) is introduced.
This is because mitochondria work in part by absorbing infrared rays from the sun into their biophotons, that helps to produce the majority of energy that mitochondria manufacture. NIR activates the color sensitive chemicals (chromophores & cytochrome systems) to depths of 23 centimeters (or about 10 inches), stimulating the energy processes in cells.
Thus, when you’re exposed to the rays in a NIR sauna, this helps the mitochondria to produce more energy.
19 – Better Endurance and Faster Recovery Time
Many athletes have added near infrared saunas to their regime to get an edge on performance.
Muscle fatigue was reduced by up to 42.2% when exposing muscle to NIR.
Certain tissue regenerating genes including integrins, laminin, gap junction proteins and kinesin proteins have shown a two- to five-fold increase upon exposure to NIR.
20 – Reduces Cellulite
There are many causes of cellulite. Factors such as poor circulation, lack of exercise and poor muscle tone, fluid retention, toxin storage and diminished lymph drainage all seem to worsen the appearance of cellulite. Exposure to estrogen and estrogen-like chemicals in today’s toxic world as well as our modern high-stress lifestyle may play a role in cellulite formation.
NIR therapy provides direct and indirect help in reducing cellulite. Near infrared energy increases tissue circulation, and promotes healing and rejuvenation of skin and deeper connective tissues. Cellulite is visible, in part due to weakened connective tissue. NIR helps rebuild connective tissue, reducing the appearance of cellulite.
NIR sauna therapy stimulates detoxification while boosting overall metabolism. Exercise combined with exposure to near infrared energy results in decreased overall body fat, further helping the cellulite problem.
21 – Increases Skin Firmness
DNA synthesis of fibroblasts, which affects the elasticity of skin, increased five-fold with NIR. The result is younger-looking, more beautiful skin.
22 – Low EMFs
All far infrared saunas emit EMFs or electromagnetic fields. Some emit alarmingly high amounts, which can negate their health benefits. EMFs are damaging to health in many ways. You do not have this issue in a near infrared sauna. EMF’s are incredibly low.
All electrically powered devices emit some electromagnetic radiation. Our homes contain wires carrying 120V (US) current to supply our electrical appliances and even these wires emit some EMF radiation. Near infrared lamp saunas only have wiring on the lamp panel and the lamps themselves emit virtually NO dangerous EMF. In contrast far infrared emitters, emitting frequencies similar to cell phones in the 4-15 micron range maybe quite harmful.
The safe limit for sauna EMF dose has been 3 milliGauss (mG). Some agencies are recommending a safe limit of 1 mG. Many far infrared emitters far exceed this level.
23 – Increased Detoxification Effects
Near infrared also shortens the chains of polluted water molecules. As this happens, toxins like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide are expelled. Heavy metals, such as mercury, precipitate thus easing their detoxification. This does not occur to the same degree in a far infrared sauna.
24 – Increased Cell and Tissue Repair
Near infrared light has been shown to reduce lipid peroxidation and increase oxygen production preserving delicate cell structures. The presence of cell receptors called chromophores within our bodies illustrate our need for near infrared light. Energy absorbed by these chromophores is used to facilitate ATP production, the basic biological energy storage unit. More cell and tissue energy allows more healing. No wonder that the sun feels good on our bodies. No far infrared receptors are found in our bodies.
25 – Deeper Tissue Penetration
The most notable benefit over far infrared saunas is that you enjoy deeper tissue penetration, and thus detoxification, with their use. Near Infrared rays penetrate up to 3 inches (7.6cm) into the body, while a far infrared sauna only penetrates about 1.5 inches (3.8cm).
NASA has confirmed NIR light tissue penetration up to 9 inches (23 cm). In contrast, far infrared light only penetrates about 1.5 inches into the body. Far infrared emitters are scattered around the sauna spreading out the heat and infrared light. The modern lower EMF carbon far infrared emitters are notorious for providing diffuse heat rather than the more penetrating focused near infrared lamps. This is a key factor that impacts all that sauna therapy hopes to achieve.
26 – Enhanced Effect on DNA
The greater intensity of near infrared lamps and deeper penetration of their rays increase the death of mutated cells. Mutated cells can eventually turn into cancer. This assists in the regeneration of normal body tissue. This benefit is very important for those suffering from illness due to damaged DNA.
27 – Circulation
Another benefit is the ability to increase circulation more effectively than with a far infrared sauna. When the bulbs are only on one side of the sauna, you are able to rotate every few minutes (like a rotisserie chicken). This shunts blood from one side of the body to another, vigorously enhancing circulation.
28 – Color Therapy
The bulbs used in a near infrared sauna emit red, orange and yellow light, which provides stimulating color therapy. Colored light therapy (chromotherapy) is a time honored modality.
Red Infrared light has been found to stimulate the adrenals, testes, ovaries, and growth. Orange light stimulates the intestines, liver, pancreas, and assimilation. Yellow stimulates the spleen, stomach, and digestion.
Sauna researcher, Dr. C. S. Enwemeka wrote, “[Color therapy] includes the ability to accelerate inflammation, promote fibroblast proliferation, enhance chondroplasia, upregulates the synthesis of type I and type III procollagen mRNA, quicken bone repair and remodeling, foster revascularization of wounds and overall accelerate tissue repair in experimental and clinical models.”
29 – Focused Healing
Rotating or moving closer to a near infrared lamp source allows focusing and concentrating the infrared energy. Deep internal organs are more easily reached for deep tissue healing and detoxification.
You can even use a single near infrared bulb to heal an isolated injury, infection or health issue. They are wonderful for focusing infrared energy at an area of the body in need of healing, improving circulation and killing microorganisms.
Conditions that benefit from the intense, focused light of a single near infrared bulb include rashes, joint pain, muscle strains, acne, boils, conditions of the sinuses and infections and many others.
Simply shine the bulb on the area in need of healing (or move closer to the bulb). Use the near infrared lamp for five to fifteen minutes, five to ten times per day. Allow the lamp to heat the area as much as is tolerable.
30 – Arterial Health
Near infrared light promotes nitric oxide production in our cells. No similar effect exists for far infrared light.
Nitric oxide is used by our bodies to regulate vasodilation and provide antioxidant protection. Many medications and supplements are widely used and prescribed that provide or increase nitric oxide to treat many problems. These include erectile dysfunction, circulatory diseases, high blood pressure and more.
My Sauna of Choice
As we’ve discussed here, infrared saunas have so many health benefits, including chronic health condition prevention, detoxing heavy metals and chemicals, pain relief, anti-aging, and more.
If you’re having trouble losing weight, have a lack of energy, are sick, or suffering from a chronic disease or condition, toxin accumulation is part of the problem.
Infrared sauna therapy is one of the safest and most powerful ways to eliminate toxins, lose weight, and increase your overall health.
At home, I now use a Sauna Fix sauna by Creatrix. Here’s why:
Sweat twice as much in half the time: Time is short and we all lead busy lives. The radiant sauna tent from Creatrix powerfully retains 95% of the heat and all the healing rays of the Sauna Fix® for an intense and quick sweat session. This combination of heat and light helps eliminate toxins and reduce pain.
Helps you save time: There is no need to preheat your sauna when used with one of our radiant tents, so you don’t waste a single minute before starting your healing therapy. And with a convenient at-home sauna, you also save time on traveling back and forth to a gym or other public location for light therapy. You’ll also remove the fear of microbes and germs that come with using a public sauna!
Save money $$$: Like anyone else out there, I am on a budget. The Sauna Fix® system is the most affordable, and effective, sauna system available.
It is nontoxic and safety tested: The Sauna Fix® system is completely RoHs certified, which means the zippers, frame, and radiant panels are all certified nontoxic.
Will not absorb toxic humidified sweat: This is a big one that people often don’t think about – the toxins people sweat out during their sauna session. The smooth, tent panels prevent the absorption of toxins that the body expels through sweat, unlike other tents made with porous materials (like wood).
It is portable: The Sauna Fix® and its radiant tent can be transported with its free travel bags, making sauna therapy an option no matter where you are.
Blocks EMF: The space blanket material that is fully sealed and encased in the tent panel layers effectively blocks electromagnetic frequencies (EMF). For example, you can sit inside the tent, hold your television remote control, and be unable to operate the television on the other side of the tent, due to the blocked frequencies. Rest assured that the sauna tent is a fully safe location that shields harmful EMF.
After researching and trying out most of the near infrared saunas on the market, Sauna Fix by Creatrix is the one I use in my own home, daily. You can learn more about it here.
What did you think of this article? Are thinking of taking the plunge and investing in your own infrared sauna? I personally use a sauna by Creatrix at home and LOVE it. Let me know what you use and what you think in the comments below!
